Summer in the Rockies

This tour departs at 8am and takes you to beautiful Park City and the site of the 2002 Olympics, The Utah Olympic Sports Park. It was in this location that Bobsled, Luge, ski jump and Nordic Combined events. Enjoy a guided tour and visit the Alf Engen Ski Museum and numerous park activities from Alpine Slide, Extreme Tubing & Zipline! Stroll Historic Main Street and enjoy shops, galleries and world famous dining. Depart for scenic Guardsman Pass. We will visit Big Cottonwood Canyon, passing by Solitude Mountain Resort before descending back to Salt Lake City and the end of the tour.

  • Spot at Hotel - 7:45am to load drinks & coolers

  • Depart at 8am from all lodging locations in Salt Lake City/Park City and travel through Parley's Canyon in the spectacular Wasatch mountain range toward Park City.

  • Arrive 8:45am at the Utah Olympic Sports Park, where the 2002 Winter Olympics hosted Bobsled, Luge and ski jumping competitions. It is where athletes from all over the world still train today. Enjoy a guided tour of the Bobsled and Luge course, then tour the Alf Engen Ski Museum. Enjoy numerous park activities from Alpine Slide, Extreme Tubing and a thrilling Freestyle Zipline!

  • Depart 11:30am and travel to Historic Park City's Main Street. You will enjoy time to stroll this historic mining town, tour the museum, visit art galleries and shops and enjoy lunch from the local restaurant scene.

  • 2:30pm depart Park City to travel up to Guardsman's Pass. Travel over to Brighton Ski and Summer Resort. Descend coach at Silver Lake, and go for a walk around the stupendous Silver Lake Recreation Center.

  • 4pm depart for Salt Lake City traveling the famous, Big Cottonwood Canyon, passing Solitude Mountain Ski Resort

  • 5pm arrive back to your lodging location and the end of tour
